Thank you for considering supporting our charity’s work to promote mental health and prevent suicide. Your generosity and kindness help us to provide vital services to those in need, and ensure that we can continue to raise awareness and provide support to those who are struggling. There are a number of ways that you can help us to achieve our mission, whether it’s through a donation or volunteering your time and skills.

Your donation can make a real difference to the work that we do. Every penny that we receive goes directly towards supporting our services, and helping us to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention, unless we state otherwise.

SOS will lead the way in 2024, with 2 new services being rolled out in the near future, reaching more people, having more conversations and giving more support that ever before.

Please help us to continue our work that can save lives.  Thank you everyone for any donation, large or small.  Please do not give more than you can afford.  If you cannot afford to donate, you should not do so, please use the money for yourself, thank you.

By credit or debit card

We’ve partnered with Stripe to process credit and debit card payment donations. You can choose to make a one-off single donation of any amount from £1 or choose a fixed monthly amount from £20, £50 or £100. Please ensure any amount you donate is affordable and will not put you under financial stress and leave you without money

Give as you live

Use Give as you live to donate, fundraise or contribute when you shop online or in-store! A great way to support SOS

Payroll giving

Did you know you can donate through Payroll Giving? Simple and quick, with minimum fuss – but you’re helping to make a difference!

Facebook fundraising

You can raise money on your own Facebook profile. Many people do this by asking for donations rather than birthday gifts if there's a charity they particularly want to support.

Suggest SOS to your friends and family if you think it's something they'd like to do.

Just Giving

You can also donate to SOS Silence of Suicide through our Just Giving page

You can also set up a fundraiser for SOS through Just Giving.

Google Just Giving and follow the instructions!

Legacy Giving

THANK YOU for considering our mental health and suicide awareness charity SOS Silence of Suicide for a legacy donation. Even in passing you can still be helping others.

If you, or a member of your immediate family have ever struggled with poor mental health and wish to help our charity, then please get in touch with your solicitor, give them our name and charity number and they will do the rest for you. Please make sure you choose a reputable solicitor.

Ask a family member to see the solicitor with you, so you know exactly what leaving an amount to SOS might mean.

Text to donate

We have withdrawn our text to donate service, but there are so many other ways to donate to SOS.
